Arnold Glaberson's New Hope Glabs defeated John Campbell's Broken Arrow Outlaws in the 2019 ICBL World Series. Down 2 games to 0 after the first two games, the Glabs fought back and finally scratched out a game 7 victory to win their first ever World Series. Congratulations to Arnold and John for great seasons as well as all playoff teams.

Game 1: Jon Gant vs Jacob Degrom

Broken Arrow wins 7-4

Glabs Degrom didn't have it in this game as the Outlaws score 4 times off of him. Glabs get 2 back in the bottom have on a 2-run homer by Jesus Aguilar and tie it up in the 4th at 4. Sac fly by Profar in the 5th breaks the tie and the outlaws add back to back homers by Springer and Carpenter in the 7th

Game 2: Chris Sale vs Blake Snell

 

Broken Arrow win 4-2

Outlaws Sale pitched great and another big pitcher didn't have it for the glabs. Sale goes 7 strong only allowing 1 run on 4 hits. Snell only lasts 4 innings and gives up 3 including the go ahead 2-run homer by Asdrubal Cabrera.

Game 3: at Broken Arrow, Ryu vs Rich Hill

 

New Hope wins 4-3

Great back and fourth game as the Outlaws lead 3-2 going into the top of the 8th. Glabs Eugenio Suarez hits a solo shot to tie it and Parra'doubles home the go ahead run.

Game 4: DeGrom vs Sabathia

 

New Hope wins 2-0

Great pitchers duel. DeGrom is in CY young form as he only allows 2 hits and strikes out 10. no walks. Sabathia also pitches a complete game, but makes two mistakes. A solo homer to Jesus Aguilar and rbi single to Paul Deyoung.

Game 5: Ohtani vs Teheran

 

Broken Arrow wins 6-3

Glabs score 3 runs all on solo homers by Suzuki, Parra & Ohtani. Outlaws get one back in the 4th and tie it up in the 5th on a 2-run homer by Asdrubal Cabrera. Outlaws Joe Mauer breaks the tie in the 8th on a RBI double. Profar then add a 2-run homer to ice it.

Game 6: Back at New Hope: Rich Hill vs Blake Snell

 

New Hope wins 11-6

Outlaws Rich Hill and the bullpen get hammered for 5 runs in the first 3 and 5 more in the 5th including a grand slam by Nick Williams. Plenty of offense in this one. Glabs Blake Snell gets hurt being hit by a pitch in the 4th and it gone for the rest of the series. Ohtano homers twice and drives in 4.

Game 7: Chris Sale at Ryu

 

New Hope wins 2-1

Outlaws George Springer leads off the game with a solo shot. Bottom of the 2nd, infield single by Ohtani and Brian Dozier doubles. Sac flies from Parra and Semien put New Hope up 2-1. Both starters pitch great. Sale goes the full 8, only allow 3 hits, strikes out 13, but walks 5. Ryu goes 8 and 1/3 and only allows 3 hits and strikes out 11.
